2. The essentials at a glance

• This website uses no tracking, analytics or marketing cookies.
• No analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and no advertising networks are used.
• Fonts, scripts and all media are loaded exclusively from this website's own server – no data is transferred to third parties such as Google when you visit.
• Personal data is only processed insofar as this is technically necessary to operate the website or you contact me voluntarily.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with IONOS.

When you visit the website, the server automatically records information transmitted by your browser (server log files):
- IP address of the requesting device
- date and time of access
- page or file requested and amount of data transferred
- referrer URL (the previously visited page)
- browser and operating system used

This data is processed to deliver the website, to ensure the stability and security of the server and to prevent misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; my legitimate interest lies in the secure and error-free operation of the website. Log files are only stored for as long as necessary for these purposes and are then deleted or anonymised. They are not combined with other data sources.

4. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this website uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the lock symbol and “https://” in your browser's address bar.

5. Cookies

Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device.

No cookies are set for visitors to this website. That is why there is no cookie banner – there is simply nothing you would need to consent to.

Only in the password-protected administration area, which is used exclusively by the operator, is a technically necessary session cookie set after login. It contains only a random session ID, serves solely for authentication and is deleted when logging out or closing the browser. The legal basis is § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Dark mode: If you switch between the light and dark design using the sun/moon symbol, your choice is stored exclusively locally in your browser's storage (localStorage) so that the website can take it into account on your next visit. This information is not transmitted to the server and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings. The legal basis is § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG, as storage is necessary for the function you have expressly requested.

Language: The language switch (EN/DE) simply links to the corresponding page in the other language. No data is stored for this.

Should further cookies or services requiring your consent be used in future, this policy will be updated and your consent will be requested in advance.

6. Contact by email

If you send me an email, I process your email address, your name (if provided) and the content of your message in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). Your data will be deleted once your enquiry has been fully dealt with and no statutory retention obligations apply.

7. Fonts, scripts and media

The “Geomanist” font and all scripts used (including GSAP and Lenis) are stored locally on this website's server. No connection to external providers such as Google Fonts or content delivery networks is established when a page is loaded.

Videos on this website are also delivered directly from its own server; platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo are not embedded. Animations and the custom cursor run exclusively locally in your browser – no movement or usage data is stored or transmitted.

8. Links to social networks

On this website you will find links to my profiles on Patreon, Instagram and Behance as well as to my artist portfolio NEXETH.ART (nexeth.art). These are simple links, not embedded plugins. Merely visiting this website therefore does not transfer any data to these providers. Only when you click a link will you be taken to the respective provider's website, where its privacy policy applies.

9. Your rights

Within the scope of the statutory provisions, you have the right at any time to:
- access to your stored data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
