Force of the Nature
Nature fights, but the enemy is close. With every step civilization takes, it conquers what was once untouched wilderness. Force of the Nature presents in two powerful images the contrast between the majestic force of nature and the destruction inflicted by mankind. These works capture the eternal struggle – nature stands firm, but for how much longer before it finally falls?
What is progress? Footsteps carved into the earth, mountains moved for our convenience, forests laid bare, whispers of wind drowned in the noise of machines. We conquer, but what is it we gain? Silent rivers, empty skies, a world reshaped in our image, fragile and fleeting. What will we leave behind, when the last tree falls, when the air grows thin, and we look back on what we’ve built? The world was never ours to take, it was ours to protect. Now, we stand in the wreckage of our own creation. Is this progress worth the cost?
