Plague
I’ve watched the world decay, piece by piece. Beneath a surface of beauty, there’s always been rot. Souls lost, wandering, clinging to what remains of their strength. Unseen, unnoticed, but still here. Each breath, each step—remnants of a battle fought in silence. Stubbornness grips like a plague, twisting what we once were. We fall, not by the sword alone, but by the weight of our choices. Beneath the surface, the scars run deep, and we are all prisoners to our own war. How long before we, too, crumble?
This piece captures the haunting beauty of devastation and resilience. With delicate details, from the glistening swords to the cascade of skulls beneath a figure wrapped in a flowing red fabric, this digital painting evokes a sense of sorrow, strength, and surrender. Each sword seems to carry the weight of battles lost and won, while the somber figure resting amidst the remnants of war suggests a story yet untold—a story of survival, pain, and perhaps rebirth.
